D31 Gallery AUTUMN EXHIBITION 2021"REFLECTIONS”.

Chinwe Russell has organized another wonderful exhibition at D31Gallery. The theme is “Reflections” and I am lucky to have three of my paintings selected. Two are in the physical “analaogue” exhibition at the gallery at 13 Scot Lane, Doncaster and all three are available to view and purchase at the online exhibition.

My three pieces are : “Screen Time” - Oil and ink on un primed canvas, “System Day” - Acrylic on canvas & “Refracted Selves” - Acrylic on un primed canvas.

As we peruse the data gleaning highways via the tech conglomerates : Google / Amazon / Facebook / etc, we leave traces of ourselves. Pieces of information that describe our lives and desires. We leaves these pieces of ourselves for others to use as they please. What may the consequences be ? Peter Wankowicz is concerned with trying to describe the impact of digital technology on us humans through his thought provoking art.
