Thank god for spring…an artist emerges..from under the duvet…

The long, cold winter appears to be waning.

The S.A.D. / depression / lethargy / catatonia / etc. etc. and other hindrances to progress which dominate my life during the Wintertime seem to be melting away… (don’t hex it Peter!) and creativity is returning. Jesus - I’ve even managed to get this website up and running after a few years of procrastination. But more importantly pencil is being put to paper, pigment to canvas and joy is reappearing. Thank God.

Welcome to my website - and thanks for taking the time to look at my work. This site will hopefully morph and meld and incorporate different aspects of creative life as it develops over time - but at least it’s now up and has work in it.

This will be a place where I will try and share the experiences of being an artist in today’s times of super fast tech / crazy social media maelstrom / frantically paced modern life.

There will be rants and raves and all sorts of stuff… but fundamentally there will be painting and that’s pretty much what keeps me alive - keeps me sane ….
