Selected for Aberdeen Artists Society - summer exhibition 2021

I’m pleased to have my painting of Rumbling Kern on the Northumberland coast selected for the Aberdeen Artists Society summer exhibition 2021. The exhibition starts on 12 June as there are lots of great artworks from the many talented artists.

Rumbling Kern is a unique and special beach on the Northumberland coast.

It has an inland facing beach due to the geology of the area.  The beach has a strange atmosphere which is hightened at high tide and strong winds when the rumbling of the kern can be heard as the wind is forced through through the kern's crack .   Quite eerie at sunset ...
